Frontier Game
In this western frontier game you need to help build a flourishing community on the western frontier. You will be assigned tasks to complete during the game which can be found on the clipboard
on the bottom left of the game. The characters in your western town interact with each other. To see what they are saying click on the
exclamation mark above their heads then, to move them around,
place your mouse over the character, hold your left button down and drag them to where
you want them to go. There are further in game instructions.
The western frontier itself began as Europeans on the east coast of northern America started to move west in search of new lands to settle. After
the revolutionary war this movement gathered pace aided by the Louisiana Purchase. The native Americans tried to halt this advance but the War of 1812 put paid to most
of the native American opposition and settlements continued and expanded. Historians have recorded that it was
this process of establishing the western frontier that created a new people called
